  Slap:  2015. Directed by Nick Rowland. UK -         Con is nearly caught by his dad doing his makeup. He then goes to boxing, and his girlfriend turns up to watch him spar. He gets home, dresses in women’s clothing and does his makeup again; outside we hear gay slurs, and someone chasing his gay friend. He knocks to try and get in but Connor can’t bring himself to open the door while he is in makeup and a dress, but when he hears him being beaten he goes out and fights off the attackers. In doing so, he has to explain why he is dressed like he is to his friend, and shows him his makeup. Connor’s girlfriend, Lola, comes back to his boxing gym but doesn’t know about the makeup. He gets told to ‘dress up’ for a party, so goes out in drag. At the party, people think it’s a joke; his friend Archie, the only one who truly knows, tries to kiss Connor, but he hits him, and Archie in return causes. a public argument.
